For apprehensive patients we offer light and moderate conscious  sedation and/or nitrous oxide.

Although dentistry has come a long way, some procedures are still unpleasant especially if you have had previous bad experiences at a dental office.  We are pleased to offer various levels of sedation for anxiety and advanced pain control.

1. Nitrous Oxide: Commonly referred to laughing gas, this will help you relax. You breathe it in through your nose during the entire appointment. At the end of your appointment, the gas is turned off and you are able to drive back to work or back home.

2. Oral Sedation: We have you take a small pill one hour before your appointment that will help you remain relaxed during your appointment.

3. IV sedation is the most effective and safest method of sedation. It will help ensure that you remember little, if any, about your dental appointment. This method is most often used for patients who have anxiety, difficulty getting numb,  and even those who don't want to be aware of what is going on during there dental appointment. Common procedures for IV sedation are wisdom tooth removal, implant placement, root canals, and even crowns and fillings.  

This is the most predictable and safe type of sedation.
