Dr. Douglas W. Pulsipher attended Brigham Young University from 1967 - 1968 and 1971 - 1972. He served a two year mission in Chile for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints from 1968 - 1970. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from Northwestern University Dental School (Chicago) in 1976. He has been in private practice since 1976. In 1977 he established Division Street Dental Group in Lancaster, California and practiced dentistry there until 2004. Some of his Lancaster patients commute to Coeur d'Alene from California to continue to receive his care. He established Riverstone Dental Care in 2004 and is a resident of Coeur d'Alene. He and his wife Sally are the parents of six children and twelve grandchildren. Two of his daughters are dental hygienists, a son-in-law is a Spokane dentist and his youngest son, John, joined Riverstone Dental Care in 2008 after graduating from USC School of Dentistry. They are truly a dental family.
Dr. Pulsipher served on the Board of Directors of the LDS Academy of Dentists providing dental care for the needy throughout the world. As a general dentist, he has extensive experience in all areas of family dentistry including: Cosmetic Dentistry; Root Canals; Crowns, Bridges, Dentures; Extractions, Implants, Wisdom Teeth Removal; Periodontal Therapy; Children's Dentistry, and Invisalign. He is a graduate of the Straight Wire Orthodontic Foundation. He is a member of the American Dental Association and the Idaho State Dental Association. He is licensed to practice dentistry in Idaho and Washington.
Dr. John C. Pulsipher received his Bachelor's degree from Brigham Young University. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree the USC School of Dentistry. He also served a two-year mission in Spain for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He is married with two boys. He enjoys playing the bass guitar, photography, traveling, treating the underserved populations. Dr. Pulsipher has provided free dental care to the underserved in Peru, Mexico, Belize, El Salvador throughout southern California, and right here in northern Idaho. In 2008, he was awarded the Humanitarian Award by AYUDA, Inc. He has received additional training in implant dentistry, IV Sedation, single visit crowns, Invisalign Orthodontics, root canals, bridges, partials, and complete dentures. He is an Associate Fellow in the World Clinical Laser Institute.
Dr. Pulsipher is a graduate of USC School of Dentistry with an emphasis in minimally invasive dentistry treating patients of all ages and health including children, medically compromised, and geriatric patients. He is a member of the ADA, ISDA, and other organizations.
Dr. Eric C. Simpson attended Texas Tech University from 1965-1970, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas at San Antonio in 1974. He completed a general practice residency with the U.S. Public Health Service in New York City in 1975. Following this he moved to Juneau, Alaska and was in the Indian Health Service from 1975 - 1977. He established a private dentistry practice in Juneau in 1977 where he practiced dentistry until 2004. While in Alaska for 17 years he owned a 46' boat with a dental clinic on board. Using his boat Dr. Simpson visited remote island villages with no access to dental care where he attended to the dental needs of the people in these communities. In 2004 he moved to Rathdrum, Idaho and joined Riverstone Dental Care in July 2005.
Dr. Simpson has 2 children living in Juneau, Alaska, and Bellingham, WA. Dr. Simpson enjoys building classic cars, riding his motorcycles and hunting in North Idaho and Montana. He has restored and modified 10 to 12 cars, which he has driven in the Car d'Lane and other classic car parades and drives them frequently.
